When he fouled out with 3:40 left, Zubac had the most rebounds in an NBA game this season and was one rebound short from the league’s fourth 30-point/30-rebound rebound game and first since 2018. The Clippers, who are still without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, got 19 points from Norman Powell and 14 from Terance Mann.

Jalen Smith led the Pacers with 23 points, while Tyrese Haliburton contributed 15 and T.J. McConnell added 14. Zubac, a sixth-year center from Croatia, is also the first Clippers player to have a game with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds since DeAndre Jordan in 2018. Zubac is the 12th player in team history to have a 20/20 performance.

According to OKBET, it was the second-most rebounds in a Clippers game since 1981. Michael Cage had the most, with 30 in a game against Seattle in 1988.

In 31 minutes, Zubac shot 14 of 17 from the floor, including three dunks, and 3 of 3 from the free throw line. He scored 14 points in the first quarter, a career record for him in any quarter.

Los Angeles led 59-57 at halftime and 65-62 with 8:28 left in the third quarter before embarking on a 16-3 run over the next five minutes to put the game away. During the run, Marcus Morris Sr. scored six points and Zubac added four.

The Clippers had a 20-point advantage early in the fourth quarter.

Pacers: Buddy Hield, who entered the game second in the league with 69 3-pointers, shot 1 of 9 and ended with 10 points.

Morris led the Clippers with 13 points, while John Wall and Moses Brown each added 10 off the bench.

The Pacers will stay in Los Angeles to play the Lakers on Monday.

The Clippers will play at Portland on Tuesday.
